Van Canto – Break The Silence (2011)

Metal music advance every day and in many forms, that is the case of “A Capella” metal band Van Canto, and yeah you read correct “A Capella”,  no guitar, no bass guitar and no keyboard. Just drums and a lot of voices. The band’s 4th album Break The Silence is just phenomenal as it is their way to do music,  it has been 5 years since their début in the metal scene, and they already have put out 4 albums, played Wacken Open Air and revolutionized the way to do metal.

Break Of Silence is an epic album from beginning to end, tracks like If I Die In Battle and The Seller Of Souls are two of the most epic tracks on the album. Van Canto also presents in this album three covers adapted to their style, Primo Victoria original of Sabaton that features the very own Joakim Broden Sabaton‘s frontman on vocals, Bed Of Nails, original of Alice Cooper and Manowar‘s Master of the wind. The album also features Neuer Wind, the first ever song in german that the band have recorded, also on the track Spelled In Waters you will hear the guitar of Marcus Siepen of Blind GuardianBreak The Silence is a jewel among the metal other albums put out these days, not only because of its epicness, but also because the production is just amazing. So if you are into metal innovation Van Canto would not disappoint you.
