The Finnish did it again, at this point I am almost convinced that is not a bad band coming from that country. The proof of that was the amazing show that Insomnium put last Saturday here in Phoenix, AZ as the band is on tour now with Alestorm and Epica.
In most cases the opening band gets a small crowd, plus some of the early concert goers that want to be on front for the headliner. This time around Insomnium opened the show here in Phoenix,AZ with a full house, as it was the first time the band toured North America in almost five years. Insomnium played a fair set that included songs like; Inertia, One For Sorrow, Only One Who Waits and Unsung, out of their latest album One For Sorrow. Some songs from their previous albums like Killjoy and Where The Last Wave Broke also appeared on their set that night.
It was great to see their performance that was a full of really deep depressing songs and a lot of heavy riffs. The Age Of Metal had the chance to speak with Niilo Sevänen vocalist and bass player of the band. We talked about One For Sorrow, the tour and their future plans.
