Since 1998 Edenbridge has been active as one of the key bands that forged the symphonic metal sound. The band has released seven studio albums so far, and are set to release their eighth studio album The Bonding this summer.
The band had been in and out of the international spectrum since their conception in 1998, with different lineup changes that shaped the style of Edenbridge, this year the band will release their new album The Bonding. After a couple of years of silence, and an overwhelming response of their fan base to help finance part of the new album. The Bonding is a heavier and a more aggressive adventure, full of musical experiments, textures and colors that connect the band with today’s metal scene.
With the releasing of this album, Edenbridge returns to reclaim their rightful place in the symphonic metal scene as one of the pioneer bands in this genre that was there when all begun. Sabine Edelsbacher’s voice shines on this album, and reflects the dawn of a new era for Edenbridge.
