UK heavy rock band HARK are streaming another new track taken from their highly anticipated forthcoming album, ‘Machinations’. The track, an overdose of dynamic heavy rock titled “Son of Pythagoras” is streaming now at Metal Injection.
Regarding the track, HARK founding member Jimbob Isaac comments: “Seeing riffs and rhythms in dreams, and drawing geometric impossibilities could stem from old Mr. Pythagoras’ teachings. His dab hand at angles also covered musical formulas for spiritual healing, and while dealing with some super duper psychic predators and energy-butchers during the writing of ‘Machinations’, Mr. P and his wisdom provided quite the tonic.”
HARK’s forthcoming new album, ‘Machinations’, will be released worldwide on February 24, 2017across multiple LP and CD formats. Pre-orders for ‘Machinations’ are available here.
With ‘Machinations’, HARK deliver a perfectly crafted vision of hard-hitting heavy rock, expanding on their simultaneously progressive and muscular sonic palette. The weight and bombast is intact, but newly expanded to include virtuoso leads and melodic finesse. HARK v2.0 is now officially in widescreen, and ‘Machinations’ beautifully precise pummeling proves them a genuine force to be reckoned with. ‘Machinations’ showcases HARK’s new lineup, including new lead guitarist Joe Horvatt, and bassist Tom Shortt, alongside founding members Jimbob Isaac – guitar/vocals, and Simon Bonwick – drums.
