Soilwork has been around since the the heyday of the Gothenberg melo-death scene. Over the years, they have evolved in a way that has kept them relevant, while staying connected to their roots.
After nearly 20 years of putting out consistently quality music, they’re still forging on. On March 5th, their 9th studio album, The Living Infinite, comes out. Soilwork‘s Björn Strid took some time recently to talk with The Age of Metal about it. In this interview he discusses the writing and recording of this massive double album, what he’s doing outside of Soilwork, and also gives listeners a glimpse inside the band that most never see or hear about.
