What the press is saying about WORMED:

“Weird, adventurous modern death metal had a banner year in 2013. This is my favorite example. …genius in practice, Wormed use thrusters of pure shred to launch slam-happy brutal death metal through the techkinox wormhole and into the cosmos.” –One of Stereogum’s – 50 Best metal albums of 2013

“With swine-like growls and switchback riffs cutting razor-sharp corners like a Tron light cycle, WORMED’s “The Nonlocality Trilemma” is engineered to bludgeon you into multidimensional submission. …yet for all its disorientation, there’s something rational about the structure of it all. Wormed goes beyond: This music is alien, unknown.” – NPR

“…it’s pretty unassailable, if you’re a fan of savage blast beats, sci-fi riffing, and ultra-downtuned chugs that will make you want to punch holes in your living room floor. …heavy and hyper-aggressive, but still extremely technical and complex, music.” – Phil Freeman, Burning Ambulance.com

“Wormed’s Exodromos was an album that felt captivating. It’s bleak lyricism mixed with Dillinger Escape Plan soundscapes pulled together a mangled and manic experience.” – Metal Injection

“[WORMED] spends much of its discography unearthing lyrical themes of astronomy, astrophysics, biology and human evolution with an extremely deep and complex analysis.”– Westword

“Wormed are working feverishly to expand the genre’s borders. ” – Hank Shteamer, Noisey.com
