Since 2007 White Wizzard had committed themselves to revive and clean the heavy metal scene in the Los Angeles, CA area from screamo orcs, and false metal trolls. After a series of lineup adjustments the band is ready to release their third full studio album, The Devil’s Cut.
This new album reflects the band’s purpose as it brings melody, and good times back to the metal scene using a classic approach. The album is highly influenced by Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Motorhead. So for those nostalgic about the long gone 80’s heavy metal sound. Fear no more, and make sure to pick up a copy of The Devil’s Cut on June 25th. I promise, the album won’t disappoint you.
The Age Of Metal kidnapped White Wizzard for a chat at the dungeons of Century Media headquarters in L.A last Saturday, after the band graciously signed autographs and posed for pictures at the record label’s parking lot sale. We talked about The Devil’s Cut, the line up changes, touring, Italians, plastic surgery and much more.
