Threat Signal checks in with The Age of Metal

Threat Signal reached out to their fans, via indiegogo, asking for help to get back out on the road. They set a goal of $15,000 offering a variety of ‘perks’ including a recording package ($5,000) where Jon Howard will produce, record and mix your bands EP in his home recording studio. Fans took advantage of these once in a life time opportunities raising over $15,700.

Threat Signal joined the Crown of Phantoms tour with The Browning, Dark Sermon and headliners Chimaira which kicked off 7/26/13. Metal enthusiasts didn’t let the 110º weather on a Sunday night (8/4/13) keep them from coming to this show. Starting off the night was the local legends Vivicide. They got the crowd and moshers warmed up for Dark Sermon which were followed by The Browning and Threat Signal, direct support to Chimaira, turned the venue of Havana Cabana into a pit of chaos amongst sweaty metal brethren. Their stage presence conveyed their appreciation  for their fans and the passion to perform.

The Age of Metal caught up with Threat Signal during their stop in Tempe, Az. at the Havana Cabana (a.k.a. Rocky Point Cantina). Finding the only shady spot, Jon Howard, Pat Kavanagh, Joey Muha, and Travis Montgomery persevered through the heat to talk about the album in works, their upcoming European Tour and their indiegogo campaign.
