The insane thrash force known as Havok is going to conquer your mind. Ever since 2004, Havok has provided us with some of the most vigorous material known to man. Their newest album, Unnatural Selection, is sure to bring you copious malevolence. With grueling solos, radical lyrics and hammering drums and bass this album truly is nefarious. It is most definitely a unique authority this band encompasses. With technicality embedded in the thrash vim, it’s no wonder why they gained such a devoted fan base.
Havok has had an impressive year so far. Aside from releasing Unnatural Selection, they played a number of kinetic shows. They played some dates in the Midwest and west with The Casualties and Goatwhore. They were on the Despise the World European tour supporting headlinder Suffocation with Cephalic Carnage and Fallujah. And they played Rock Al Parque this year in Colombia. And with the Unnatural Selection tour coming up, they have no intentions of settling down.
The Age of Metal had the chance to speak with vocalist and guitarist David Sanchez. In the interview we discuss Sanchez’ take of Unnatural Selection, the Despise the World tour and Rock Al Parque, and their upcoming Unnatural Selection tour.
