Death metal maestros Hypocrisy released a new album titled End Of Disclosure not long ago, and have toured Europe promoting the record, Unfortunately they had to withdraw from their North American tour due to their visas were not approved in a fashionable time for them to come and rage with us here in America.
With their new album Hypocrisy went back to simple and straight forward death metal of the highest and brutal kind. End Of Disclosure shines among Hypocrisy‘s discography as an album in which the band didn’t put too much attention to elaborated musical elements, but rather choose to execute short songs with a conceptual background. From conspiracy theories, alien activity (a recurrent subject on the band’s lyrical content) death and destruction. The album itself is another masterpiece crafted by Peter Tagtgren in the deep and dark rooms of The Abyss studios in Sweden, there he had shaped the history and path of many metal genres by producing albums for bands that later would become heroes on their own (Dimmu Borgir, Children Of Bodom, Sabaton, etc.)
The Age Of Metal had the pleasure to speak with Hypocrisy’s main man Peter Tagtgren about the reasons behind their withdraw of the North American tour, End Of Disclosure, and a deep talk on his career as a producer, oh and some info on what is up with his side project PAIN.
