Mia Coldheart of Crucified Barbara on In The Red

There is rare occasions in which you can find bands that can easily produce rock and roll with such passion, that the result is so natural and addictive that you get floored as soon you listen their new music. Well, Crucified Barbara from Sweden are one of those bands.

Since the first time I listen their début album In Distortion We Trust (2005) I knew they were going to be one hell of a band, with Till Death Do Us Party (2009) they consolidated that idea,  and by the time they released The Midnight Chase (2012) they had convinced everyone that chicks can rock harder than guys. With their new album In The Red, they for sure have what it takes to become one of the greatest hard rock bands of our generation.

If bands like Girlschool, Vixen, and The Runaways paved the path for bands like Crucified Barbara, is up to them now to carry the torch of women in metal. In definitive Crucified Barbara, It’s all about of women’s attitude and great musicianship.
