Lizzy Borden discussed new album and the music industry at NAMM 2017

WINTERSUN - The Forest Seasons

Los Angeles metal legends Lizzy Borden started their career back in the mid 80’s during the rise of American glam metal, and since then they have been a constant band that had adapted themselves to the changes in the music industry. With the time and due to the constant shifting in the industry, Lizzy Borden became a more shock-rock type of band that has been focused in touring around the world rather than releasing records during the last decade.

With the focus on touring the band has not released a new album in almost 10 years, this wasn’t due to creativity issues or to lack of enthusiasm to do so, but because of their focus on touring and in getting the appropriate line up to create and record a new album. After a while, Lizzy Borden has decided to go back to the studio with almost 10 years worth of music ideas they are in the process of recording a new record that will see the light of day pretty soon.

While at NAMM 2017 we got the chance to chat with frontman Lizzy Borden about the status of the new album, and his thoughts about the direction and shape that the music industry has taken in the last decade.
