As many of you remember Sister Sin ceased to exist in 2015, but that was not the end for vocalist Liv Jagrell who is now making a comeback to the metal scene with her new band Liv Sin and their debut album Follow Me. After over a decade of work with Sister Sin and countless tours in Europe and North America, Liv is doing something different and more aggressive with Liv Sin.
What started as an for Liv Jagrell when Sister Sin called quits, it’s now a full-time band with a brand new album, the music is heavier as Liv Sin experiments with classic heavy metal elements, thrash metal while keeping the unique aggressive and captivating vocal style that Liv is well-known for.
Liv Sin counted with the experience behind the soundboard of producers Fitty Wienhold (U.D.O.) and Stefan KaufmannIt (ex- Accept and U.D.O.) who help developed the band’s powerful sound. The music on Follow me is angry and the lyrics transmit the frustration of Liv Jagrell with today’s society.
The Age of Metal had the chance to speak with Liv Jagrell of Liv Sin about the band and the new album as well as her touring plans for 2017.
