Karl Sanders of Nile discussed the new album What Should Not Be Unearthed and touring plans

Nile is the band that has always remained a monster, yet the beast unleashes more powerful with each album. With each passing legacy Nile creates a new definition of brutality that is insurmountable. How this iconic band still finds ways to challenge themselves is a mystery that is carved deep within the stones of time. All we know is this riot of death metal legends influenced a movement of unworldly extreme metal.

On August 28th, Nile will release their eighth album What Should Not be Unearthed. Even with the complex musicianship, Nile still holds an immense amount of heavy to their classic technical material. And with their landmark ancient Egyptian themes, Nile still holds their singular style. 2015 – and into 2016 – will be more good years for Nile. Along with this new album, incredible tours are planned. All the fans can expect is pure savagery!

The Age of Metal interviewed the Nile mastermind himself – Karl Sanders! In the interview we discuss Karl’s view of the new album, the writing behind the album, as well as the touring they’re planning including another solo headliner/local support for 2016.
