Jonny and Nick from Job for a Cowboy speak to The Age of Metal.

DIMMU BORGIR - Interdimensional Summit

On April 7th The Metal Alliance tour came to Tempe, Arizona at the Marquee Theater. This tour which was headlined by Devildriver and with many bands like Dying Fetus and The Faceless giving them direct support. One band and local heroes here in Arizona called Job for a Cowboy played at the Metal Alliance.

The Metal Alliance tour truly had a festival kind of feel being that the show started fairly early many bands were able to be put on the bill. Job for a Cowboy came on right after 3 Inches of Blood and by that time the crowd was pretty warmed up. Seeing Job for a Cowboy live many times I knew they put on a good and this was no exception. They started off with Embedded, a fan favourite and the pit began to widen again. Considering that Job for a Cowboy had a small set(about 30 to 40 minutes) they played around 6 songs where a few from their new album Demonocracy were present. By the time they were done the crowd was very warmed up for the following bands Dying Fetus and The Faceless and for headliners DevilDriver.

Check out our hilarious interview with Jonny and Nick of Job for a Cowboy when they played at the Metal Alliance tour in Tempe, AZ where we talked about the tour, the making of the new album, their thoughts on the local scene and Deathcore, and their love for Chipotle.
