The mix of death, thrash and other elements come together to form the band Jungle Rot. They have been around for more than 10 years now and since then held a name for themselves in the underground scene. They are hard-working, unique and innovative band. They have kept to their roots but keep expanding, progressing & keep getting stronger and stronger. The band’s latest release was “Kill on Command,” through Victory Records.
Jungle Rot opened for Deicide the night of March 22nd in Flagstaff, Arizona at the Orpheum Theater. The band is full of energy and really kept the crowd engaged. They never stopped head banging and their style and sound is different from everyone else on the tour and really made them stand out. The crowd absolutely loved them and people who had never seen them before were very impressed. Their set list for the night was: Their Finest, Blood Ties, Demon Souls, Worst Case Scenario, Misplaced Anger, Let Them Die, Rise Up & Revolt, Fight for Life, Strong Shall Survive and Gore Bag.
The Age of Metal was able to speak to Dave (lead Singer) and discuss how the band has been doing over the years, the line up changes and how its affected them. Also how they have turned a corner in their career & are very excited now being signed to Victory Records. It feels like a new chapter for the band and much more.
