All the way from Los Angeles California Death Metal band Abysmal Dawn has been in the scene since 2005 and since then have been making a name for themselves. They have toured with many amazing bands over the years some of which include: Obscura, Hate Eternal, Origin and many more. The band’s current album is “‘Leveling The Plane of Existence,” which was released through Relapse Records.
On Friday March 30th, Abysmal Dawn played at the Nile Theater in Mesa, Arizona along with Exhumed & Arkaik. This was the first date for all 3 bands before they join up with Cannibal Corpse to do the US. Torture Tour.
Abysmal Dawn put on a great show and got the crowd pumped. They have a very unique sound compared to other death metal bands out there. All the members Charles Elliott (guitars & vocals), Scott Fuller (drums), Eliseo Garcia (bass) & Andy Nelson (live guitarist) had great energy and good stage presence. Their set list for the night was: Programmed to Consume, Rapture Renowned, Pixilated Ignorance, Perpetual Dormancy, Servants to their knees, My own Savior, & Leveling the Plane of Existence, & In Service Of Time.
The Age of Metal was able to speak with frontman Charles Elliott and discuss the new album, future tours, his guest spot on vocals for the “Death To All Tour,” and much much more.
