Borealis is a Progressive metal band from Toronto, Canada, that since 2005 has created some awesome riffs, and now they are in the process of building a name for themselves. With two albums out, World Of Science (2008) and Fall From Grace (2011) the band has already played the kick off show at ProgPower USA XI (2010) and now they are on the road supporting Saxon on their North American tour.
The Age Of Metal had the chance to catch up with the band after their show here in Tempe, AZ the past October 4rd and this is what they told us:
How is the tour going so far?
For those who don’t know yet, can you tell us a bit about Borealis and how it came to be?
How do you define the sounds of Borealis?
You have a new album out Fall From Grace, what can you tell us about it?
What is the idea or concept behind the album?
You played the kick off show at last years ProgPower USA XI, how was the experience of playing at that festival?
You picked up a new guitar player Michael Briguglio, after Ken departed last year, how was the process of selecting Michael, and how has been working with him so far?
I assume besides ProgPower this is your first tour in the US, what is your opinion of the american crowds? and so far which has been the best show?
What is next for Borealis?
