Ingested – The Architect of Extinction (2015)

The Architect Of Extinction is probably the most unmerciful thing to come out of the UK.
This is Ingested‘s 4th and best album yet! Toshihiro Egawa, who designed the artwork for their début album, Surpassing the Boundaries of Human Suffering, has awarded Ingested with another sadistic piece to unite their virtuosity. The members of Ingested are VERY proud to have released The Architect Of Extinction on January 12th in Europe and it will be available (digitally) January 27th in North America.

The Divine starts the album off at blistering speeds!! drummer, Lyn Jeffs inhuman blast beats show ferocious precision in this exceedingly technical piece. Sean Hynes and Sam Yates use articulate transitions through their epic guitar riffs, while assisting  lead vocalist, Jay Evans with guttural screams. If there is a Kingdom of Death Metal  – Ingested takes the throne with Narcissistic Apathy. This track has the ability to keep you headbanging for hours with profitable forms of escapism. Endless Despondency delivers such a unique blend of breakdowns. Somewhat similar to The Acacia Strain, but more abusive. The ending of this song has a very morbid approach to the norm of human society.

Just when you think you’re about to start bleeding through your ears, they hit you with the zealous instrumental of Penance. Opening up with a melodic guitar intro, this track eventually leaves you  wandering in deep thought. The album grows more technical and almost borderline grindcore as it progresses with the track Extinction Event. This melodic blend incorporates trebleo picking throughout, impressive transitions into sick double bass patterns, and antagonizing lyrics. Rotted Eden ends the album with a very dynamic and mysterious departure essentially leaving you wanting more!
