HEAVEN’S CRY REVEAL DEBUT FIRST TRACK FROM NEW ALBUM “OUTCAST”

DIMMU BORGIR - Eonian

Montreal-based progressive metal outfit HEAVEN’S CRY are excited to reveal the debut their infectious new single, “The Human Factor”, taken from their highly anticipated June 3 release “Outcast” – the first new music from the quartet since the return from their 7-year hiatus with 2012’s acclaimed breakthrough “Wheels of Impermanence”.

With the album taking an active stance on the struggle of the current human race to evolve with changing ways and times with a corrupt, profit-driven government, “The Human Factor” was inspired by the recent political climate and features a sampling of one of American activist Noam Chomsky’s motivational speeches to further narrate their point.

Vocalist Sylvain Auclair gave insight into the song’s development,
When I wrote the basic structure of “The Human Factor”, I was inspired by the song “Peacemaker Die” by the band Extreme. They’d inserted Martin Luther King’s “I Have A Dream” speech in the instrumental part of their song. It made me connect to history and realize how powerful and hopeful that speech was.Noam’s 1970 lecture was a perfect fit for “The Human Factor”.”
