Welsh power trio HARK have announced a string of summer tour dates across the UK. The trek, titled the “Summer Disintegration 2016” tour, begins on July 29 in Cardiff, and stretches to include appearances at Bloodstock and Red Sun Festival. A full list of confirmed tour dates can be found below.
Regarding the tour, HARK founder Jimbob Isaac comments, “We are glad to announce our ‘Summer Disintegration’ tour 2016. We shall be playing these shows as our newly expanded line-up, so we would like to officially welcome Tom Short (Intensive Square) to the HARK fold as our new bass player. Joe will now be handling second and lead guitar on the new album. This is the beginning of HARK V.3.0 and we cannot wait to air some new songs on this summer trip. More album updates soon.”
HARK are touring in support of their debut album, ‘Crystalline’. Since the release of their debut, the Welsh heavy rock power-trio have toured the UK and Europe extensively, while the record has received global critical acclaim. Appearing on countless end of year lists, the album has been regarded as a game changer in the heavy/stoner/progressive genre.
‘Crystalline’ has been called “a criminally good offering that’s positively packed to bursting point with speaker-shaking, sludge-laden, giant-slaying riffs” (Metal Hammer, UK), “a heaving beast of an album” (SputnikMusic), and “unapologetic, and it’s there to tell all musical trends to piss off” (MetalSucks), and is streaming here.
