On April 14th Queensryche featuring Geoff Tate played the Marquee Theater. Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of their album Operation Mind Crime.
The current band line up consists of Geoff Tate, Rudy Sarzo, Simon Wright, Robert Sarzo, Kelly Gray, Randy Gane, talk about an all-star line up. The whole entire Operation Mind Crime album live was incredible truely a great experience. So many old and new fans attended the show and of course everyone couldn’t help but admire Geoff’s amazing powerful voice as it carried across the stage of the Marquee. The band was energetic and pumped to play. Every song was done perfectly and they came back for an encore and played “Silent Lucidity, I’m American, Best I can, Jet City Woman, I don’t believe in Love & Eyes of a Stranger & Empire.” All their fans sang along and really enjoyed the show.
The band did a meet and greet after the show which was really great. An opportunity for them to meet their fans and take pictures. They really took the time to speak to everyone and were very friendly. Every Queensryche fan that night could definitely say that it was an impressive show.
The Age of Metal had the chance to speak to Geoff Tate before their set. We were able to talk about the tour, their new cd coming out “Unknown Frequency” and much more.
