Kingcrow is an Italian progressive metal band that started in 1996 with a couple of promo CD’s that evolved into their first album Something Unknown released in 2001. The band then begun their journey towards the consolidation of their sound. Four albums later Kingcrow had achieved that, and now they are on the road to make it further as one of the most talented metal bands in the progressive metal scene.
Last Friday September 14th 2012 the band played their first show on American soil at ProgPower USA XIII. Their 60 minute set was solid and full of songs out their latest album Phlegethon. Their music was eclectic, full of really well executed progressions, that showed the band’s connection with the contemporary state of progressive metal.
Here are some of the pictures of their show that day in Atlanta.
Diego Cafolla guitar player and founding member of the band sat down with The Age Of Metal and talked about their experience playing at ProgPower USA XIII, the band’s upcoming album In Crecendo, and the future plans of Kingcrow.
