Lacuna Coil is one of the front-runners bands in the gothic metal movement that begun back in the 90’s, and since then they had become an icon, and a model to follow for many bands that today populate the metal scene.
With six studio albums under their belt, and a long touring history Lacuna Coil is as today one of the most successful bands that had broken into the though American metal scene as their fan base is strong on every show. Currently Lacuna Coil is at the last stage of their Dark Adrenaline tour this time supporting Sevendust and Coal Chamber, that after almost two months on the road between shows in North America and South America will see the end of an era.
Last Thursday the band played at the Marquee Theater in front of a full house that received them with arms wide open. Before the show The Age Of Metal had the chance to speak with vocalist Cristina Scabbia. We talked about the tour, their latest album Dark Adrenaline, plans for a new DVD, and what is next for Lacuna Coil after this tour.
