Fear Factory is a well know band that since its formation back in 1989 had successfully combine elements of Industrial, Thrash, and Death metal to the point were their sound is unique in the metal scene.
This year the band released their eight studio album The Industrialist, a one of the heaviest and darker records the band had done so far, that continues the concept of men vs machine, and the slavery of society on the hands of technology. But all from the perspective of the machine. Even though the band had many line up changes through the years their sound still unchanged and they keep the style current and unique.
The Age Of Metal had the chance to speak with Fear Factory‘s frontman Burton C. Bell about the concept behind The Industrialist, the band’s current tour, his collaboration with other bands, and the state of band today.
