Bruce Corbitt of Warbeast checked in with The Age Of Metal

Warbeast is a Texas-based thrash metal band, that have grown non-stop since the release of their first album Krush The Enemy back in 2010 on Housecore Records (Phil Anselmo‘s record label)

After a successful North American tour supporting Gwar back in 2011, and a heavy touring agenda after that supporting Down, that eventually took them to Europe at the end of last year. Warbeast returns in 2013 with new material in the form of a split EP with Phil Anselmo‘s solo project.

The EP titled War Of The Gargantuas (like the old 60’s movie) is a 4 track split featuring two blasting thrash metal songs by Warbeast; Birth Of A Psycho and It, that are just a sample of their upcoming album Destroy, scheduled to be released this March on Housecore Records with Phil Anselmo again behind the board as producer. In the meantime the band is on the road supporting Down on their US West Coast tour.

The past Monday The Age Of Metal had the pleasure to speak with Bruce Corbitt front man of the band. We talked about the EP War Of Gargantuas, their upcoming album Destroy, their first tour in Europe and much more.
