Mark Osegueda of Death Angel talked with The Age Of Metal

Death Angel has been relentlessly touring during the last three years on an ultra violent sort of way, but not even that had stop them from writing a new album while on the road.

Death Angel‘s new album The Dream Calls For Blood is a 47 minutes raw ride forged during their experiences on the road during the last three years, from the back lounge of the tour bus on their way to Kansas City, KS to the backstage at Club Citta in Tokyo, Japan. All their adventures while on the road are the mere soul of The Dream Call For Blood. Songs like Left For Dead, Succubus, and Fallen (which I considered the heaviest songs on this new album), are a vivid example of those experiences.

This new Death Angel album keeps the signature elements of the band, but this time they took their sound to a much heavier and faster level, if you listen to the tracks Caster Of Shame, and Empty you will then find out how further they had taken their music since the released of their latest album Relentless Retribution. This album also stands as the second part of a journey for a band that didn’t give up, but in the contrary returned stronger than ever, and has been received with arms wide open by old and new fans alike.

Last week The Age Of Metal had the chance to speak with Mark Osegueda frontman of Death Angel. We talked about The Dream Calls For Blood, their upcoming tour, the state of the band, and what is next for them.
